Belval Technoport : Apps-Foundry Contest 2012
The Apps-Foundry Contest is a non-commercial, non-profit event, co-organised by Neopixl (www.neopixl.com) and the Technoport (www.technoport.lu). People from all over the world are invited to come and show what they’ve got in a unique contest where teams of 4 developers, user-experience designers and graphic designers compete for 36 hours non-stop to create mobile application. The contest will take place from 18 to 19 June 2012 in the amazing post-industrial setting of the new Technoport Business Incubator in Belval. The final decision of the jury will be unveiled at the ICT Spring and the three winners will showcase their applications at the ICT Spring Gala Dinner.

Dutch Queen Beatrix visit to Belval

She began the second day of her visit to Luxembourg by taking a train to the new Belval-University station accompanied by the Grand Duke Henri and the Grand Duchess. She participated at a roundtable meeting in the old factory building “Massenoire”, hosting the “Cite des Sciences” exhibit and she visited laboratory of the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine.
